Summary of Cigar Weekend 2025

The 13th edition of the Tallinn Cigar Weekend, held on August 16–17 2025, once again proved why this gathering has become a true highlight for cigar lovers across Europe. The air above Tallinn was filled with laughter, jazz, and—naturally—the rich aroma of premium cigars, as aficionados from eight countries came together to share good company, fine dining, and unforgettable moments.

As a part of the weekend was the Slow Smoking Competition, a qualifier for the Cigar Smoking World Championships. More than 40 participants tested their patience and skill in a contest where slow and steady truly wins the race.

The winner of the men’s competition was awarded a Cuervo & Sobrinos luxury watch, along with high-quality cigars, accessories, and exclusive prizes from Moutai.

Wonderful cigar community and sponsors

A big thank you goes out to all participants and to our wonderful cigar community, which made this year’s event so special. And of course, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our beautiful sponsors — with special recognition to our premium partners: Cuervo & Sobrinos , Moutai, JC Newman Cigar Co., and CigarHouse. Without their support, this event would not be possible.

International guest list

“This year’s guest list was more international than ever,” said Cigar Gentleman Lasse Öhman, Vice President of Tallinn Cigar Club. “We had friends joining from Estonia, Finland, Denmark, Latvia, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and Spain. The atmosphere was warm, the company was fantastic, and the cigars were truly exceptional. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back next year!”

As tradition dictates, the weekend concluded with a Farewell Smoke on Sunday — one last chance to savor both cigars and friendship before the smoke cleared over Tallinn’s summer skies.
